TIMES JOURNAL, SUNDAY. APRIL 27. 1980 Ewiep, Robinson Roth, Seltzer Ewiep, Robinson GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. Miss Lauren Ann Zwiep became the bride of James Cecil Robinson Jr. at 1 p.m.

March 22 at the Calvin Seminary Chapel. The Rev. James Remeur officiated at the double-ring ceremony. Wedding music was presented by Mrs. John Tibbe, organist, and Charles Witteveen, vocalist, uncle of the bride, Dirk Zwiep, vocalist, brother of the bride, and Christie and Jana Zwiep, sisters of the bride at the piano and violin.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Carl Zwiep of Holland, Mich. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. James Cecil Robinson Sr.

and the late Mr. Robinson of Selma. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of ivory satin with lace insets. A full skirt flowed into a cathedral train edged by tiny lace. She carried a bouquet of white stephanotis, sprengerie and needlepoint ivy with white mums and baby breath.

Bridal attendants were Olivia Miller, matron of honor, Memphis, Ellen Van't Hof, sister of the Mrs. Mark Kimmel, TUPELO, Miss. Miss Helen Morrissette Kimmel and Mark Perry Monts were married April 12 at the First Presbyterian Church with Thomas Morton McMillan, cousin of the bride, officiating. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs.

Gary Robert Kimmel of Thousand Oaks, and Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Weaver Monts Jr. of Tupelo. The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs.

Morrissette Farish and the late Miller Rufus Farish of Monroeville and Mrs. Harry Household Kimmel and the late Mr. Kimmel of Daytona Beach, Fla. The bride wore her mother's gown of embroidered organdy over taffeta. The embroidered bodice had a yoke of illusion which fastened in the back with taffeta -covered buttons.

Rowan MONTGOMERY Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Earl Phillips announce the engagement of their daughter, Lois, to Edward Leon Rowan son of Mrs. Edward Leon Rowan Sr. and the late Mr.

Rowan of Selma. The marriage is planned for May 31 in Cloverdale Christian Church. The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Thomas Rogers Carter and the late Nathan Randal Phillips and the late Mr. and Mrs.

Charles Christopher McClellan of Montgomery. She attended Massey Junior College in Atlanta and St. Mary's University in Antonio, Texas. She was member of the Montgomery Cotillion Club and was presented at the Blue-Gray Colonels Ball. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr.

and Mrs. Edward Rowan of Selma and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Richard Ott of Thomaston. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order.

He attended law school at the University of Richmond. He is assistant general manager of MaxwellGunter Federal Credit Union. Roth, Seltzer bride, and Mary Van Slambrouch. They wore fulllength yellow linen dresses with tucking detail on the yoke extending into the shoulders with matching tucked belts. Their flowers were bouquets of pale yellow lilies with stephanotis and baby breath.

The mother of the bride wore a street-length dress of gold linen with V-neck and long sleeves. The mother of the bridegroom wore a mint green street-length dress with accordian-pleated skirt and lace overblouse. Their corsages were yellow sweetheart roses. Terry Cook, Oxford, Miss. was best man.

Vows were exchanged before an arrangement of yellow and apricot lilies with stephanotis before a background of sprengerie and ivy accented with white pole tapers and white potted mums. P. They wore long gowns of royal-blue polished cotton and carried old-fashioned nosegays of mixed white flowers. The father of the bridegroom served as best man.
